Tldr: what happened and learned
The outage, caused by a major failure at AWS, may have temporarily affected some Super features (mostly Dashboard).
However, throughout the incident, we continuously monitored our customers’ static sites, which remained largely available and served as usual. The disruption also impacted other major cloud providers, including Vercel and Intercom.
The outages lasted roughly from 7:16 AM UTC to 11:46 AM UTC, after which we’ve observed the application returning to normal operation. We’ve learned valuable lessons—especially regarding our status page—and will be improving our setup to ensure we can communicate more promptly even if provider-level infrastructure becomes unavailable. During this incident, we had to use alternative channels such as Twitter and Discord to keep users informed.

Super dashboard login issues 2025-10-20
We’ve noticed that Super dashboard doesn’t work properly and are working on it. This started around 7:16 UTC time.
- What’s happening: It’s not possible to log in to the Super dashboard - the page immediately logs out right after signing in.
- Why: One of the services we use - AWS - has a major outage, which has also caused issues in app.super.so.
- What this means for you: Unfortunately, it’s not possible to log in to the dashboard at the moment, so no changes or updates can be made right now.
- Workaround: We kindly ask for your patience - we’re working on a fix to ensure our app functions properly regardless of AWS status. We’re really sorry for the interruption and appreciate your patience. If you still see any issues, please get in touch with support at hello@super.so.
We’ll share another update by 1 hour. If you need help in the meantime, please contact us at hello@super.so.
Updates:
[11:46 UTC] Update: According to AWS, most operations have recovered and are now running smoothly. We are continuously testing, and the Super dashboard should now work without issues. If you experienced problems logging in before, you should now be able to log in successfully. We continue to monitor the situation closely.
[10:53 UTC]
Update: According to AWS, there are now significant signs of recovery, and most requests should be processed successfully.
On our side, pages are starting to work again – we are gradually checking everything. Logging into the dashboard is starting to work in some cases. If the issue persists on your end, please try again at short intervals.
Things are looking better, but we’re not completely out of the woods yet. The chat widget on our pages is also now working. If you still notice any anomalies, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
[9:47 UTC]
Update: The situation remains unchanged; however, we are closely monitoring everything.
Unfortunately, due to outages on the side of our major cloud providers, including AWS and Vercel, we are unable to update our status page. We will provide hourly updates on this channel.
According to the available logs, static page delivery is still functioning. The issues are primarily on the dashboard side, so currently it is not possible to update pages on Super.
