1. Access the settings menu

Click on ‘Settings & members’ in your Notion sidebar to open profile settings.

2. Go to Account settings

You'll find the 'Account' segment up top. It lists all account-level options, including profile picture. Click on ‘My account’, right under your registered Email to access the screen with the current profile image.

3. Change profile image

Click on the currently set profile picture if you already have one. If you’re adding a profile picture to Notion for the first time, click on the default profile image containing the first letter of your email address. This will open a pop-up window where you can access the folder containing the new image and set it as the profile picture.

4. Select the new image

Click on ‘Open’ after locating the image in your local drive.

Notion will update the profile picture to your latest choice.

5. Ensure that Notion has updated the profile picture

While it looks like the new Notion profile picture has been set, it’s best to ensure by opening a new page.

Your new profile image must appear as a thumbnail at the top-right corner of the page.

How to change Notion profile picture on mobile?

It is not possible to change the profile image using the Notion mobile app. You need to log into the desktop app or use Notion in the browser to change the profile picture.
