- Can you copy a notion page to another account?
To copy a Notion page to another account:
1. Open the Notion page that you want to move to another account and click the ‘Share’ button at the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Enter the email address associated with the target account and click the ‘Invite’ button to make the page accessible to the account’s owner.
3. The owner needs to open the notification from Notion in their email inbox and click the link in the email’s body to access the page in the initial account.
4. They then need to duplicate the page into their account.
5. Finally, the owner can now treat the page like any other page and move it to the right folder.
Let’s discuss the steps in detail.
1. Open the Notion page you want to move to another account
You can create a new Notion page, embed additional pages into it, and then copy the entire page to another account. But we will reference an existing page - our ‘Agency Dashboard’ page to demonstrate the steps.
2. Copy the page to another account
Click the ‘Share’ button at the top-right of the screen, enter the email address of the owner of the target account, and click the ‘Invite’ button.
This will grant the recipient full access to the page.
3. Access the page in the initial account
The owner of the target account will receive an email notification from Notion asking them to accept the invitation.
The owner needs to click the ‘Accept invite’ button to access the page in the initial account. It will take them to the below page:
As evident in the image above, the new owner can access the page in the initial account only as a member.
4. Duplicate the Notion page into another account
For the owner to access the page in their account and truly own the page, they need to click the three-dots icon next to the page in the left pane and click the 'Duplicate to' drop-down. Then, they should select the name of the account to which they want to move the page.
The target page is now available in another Notion account.
5. Move the page to the right folder
The owner can treat the newly transferred page as any other page in their workspace and move it into any folder.
Can you copy a notion page to another account?
Yes, you can transfer a Notion page to another account by giving the account’s owner member access to the page and letting them duplicate it into their account.
