TL;DR
To open all toggles in Notion at once:
1. Open the Notion page containing multiple toggle blocks
2. Select the toggles by clicking and dragging the cursor over them. You can select all or a few toggle blocks.
3. Click on any of the selected toggle blocks to open them all at once
Let’s get into the details.
1. Open the Notion page containing multiple toggle blocks
We will demonstrate expanding and collapsing toggle blocks with a sample Notion blog page.
The page contains a mix of headers and regular toggle blocks.
2. Select the toggle block you want to expand
Click and drag your cursor across the toggle blocks to select them. As you do so, you will see a temporary blue rectangle highlighting the area it covers. Make sure all toggles come under it.
Release the mouse button, and Notion will highlight the selected blocks.
3. Open all Notion toggle blocks
Click on any of the selected toggles to expand them all simultaneously. Clicking on any toggle block other than the selected ones opens only that block, not others.
You can close all Notion toggle blocks the same way. Simply select all toggles you want to collapse and click on any of them to close them all.
Notion keyboard shortcut to open all toggle blocks
Open all toggles in your Notion page by using the below keyboard shortcuts:
Shortcut for Mac: CMD + OPT + T
Shortcut for Windows: CTRL + ALT + T
The only caveat is that you can’t choose toggle blocks to expand. This shortcut expands all toggle blocks on the page, not just the selected ones.
How to close all toggle blocks in Notion at once?
Open the Notion page containing the expanded toggle blocks, and use the CMD/CTRL + OPT/ALT + T shortcut to close all toggles simultaneously.
To collapse only a few toggle blocks instead of all of them:
1. Click and drag your mouse pointer to select them
2. Click on any of them to close all.
