Update: 16th July 2025 – 07:57 CET
- Grouped views are fully restored for Galleries, Lists and Tables.
- Board views are mostly restored (see grouped board below).
- Grouped Board views (the combined view) is still being investigated.
- Manual Publishing issues not related to the database problems are now being investigated.
Note that affected pages will need to be rebuilt in order to show properly - we are manually clearing site caches to accelerate this process. You can initiate the page rebuild yourself by pressing the dashboard refresh button in the top right above the preview window.
If the Manual Publishing issue is holding back your publishing, we recommend turning off manual publishing for now, as normal page sync is handling the page builds in a different way and should work ok.
Please alert support if your pages are still not working properly so we can add the pages for testing.
Update: 15th July 2025 – 12:27 CET
- Grouped views are partially restored; database pages appear, but groups themselves are not yet visible.
- Board views are experiencing similar partial functionality.
- Grouped Board views (the combined view) is currently being investigated

We’ve identified the root causes behind the recent issues with Manual Publishing and are actively working to resolve them.
Manual Publishing is an essential feature—it needs to function reliably when you use it. Typically, you prepare updates in the dashboard’s “staging environment” and then manually publish exactly when required, making dependable performance critical.
Our Engineering team believes the current issues stem either from Database grouping—which already has a fix scheduled for deployment—or from Board view databases, which we are actively addressing today. It’s also possible that a combination of these two issues is involved. When database pages encounter problems due to these views, Manual Publishing logs an error. Resolving these specific issues with grouped and board views is expected to restore reliable Manual Publishing functionality.
The underlying cause was an unannounced change to Notion’s API, which impacted how we retrieve critical database information, particularly for grouped and board views. Our solution involves identifying and implementing new methods to obtain this data and restore proper view functionality.
We appreciate your patience as we finalize these fixes.
