Notion has grown into a global productivity tool with support for 12 languages - all of them written left-to-right. That means widely spoken right-to-left (RTL) languages like Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Urdu are left out, forcing native speakers to switch to a left-to-right language - usually English - just to use the platform effectively.
Yep, that’s right… Notion does not support right-to-left text.
However, there’s a workaround, and it’s free. If you use Notion to publish pages or build simple websites, Super adds RTL support with zero coding required. Here’s how:
1. Signup with Super
Head over to Super and sign up using your email, Apple ID, or Google account. The signup process is quick and painless - you’ll be inside the dashboard in under a minute.
Once you’re in, it’s time to connect your Notion page.
2. Connect your Notion Page with Super
After signing up, you’ll be taken to the Super App dashboard. Click on the ‘Create Site’ button in the top-right corner.
You’ll see a pop-up where you can enter two things:
- Your desired domain name
- The public Notion page URL you want to use
Hit ‘Create Site’ in the light-box and just like that, your Notion page is now linked with Super.
3. Enable RTL for your Notion page
If your preferred language is written right to left (like Arabic or Hebrew), Super will automatically adjust your page layout and text direction.
We changed the language to Arabic and here’s a glimpse of the Notion page with RTL implemented - compare it to the previous image to see the difference.
That’s all it takes to present your Notion text right-to-left.
While native support may still be missing, Super fills the gap smoothly and at no cost.
It’s a simple fix that makes a big difference for millions of right-to-left language users like you.
