Neil Terry is a developer building a SaaS product on Notion and Super. After a trial that started in the summer, the new Membership feature and the Super MCP took the product to the point where it is almost ready for market.
Summary
Neil started using Super around June and July, testing a PDF-extraction use case to make sure the data modelling worked. When Membership launched, Neil jumped straight on it to gate content for a SaaS-style application. At the same time the Super MCP arrived, and building with it changed how fast Neil could ship.
About Neil Terry
- Developer with a technical background
- Building a SaaS-type application on Notion and Super
- Using Super since mid-2026
Key results with Super
- Gated content for a SaaS-style product with Super Membership
- Built much faster with the Super MCP, with no issues across different AI models
- Moved from trial to almost market-ready within two weeks of the new tools
From Notion workspace to SaaS product
Neil had a SaaS-type application in mind, and needed a way to control which content each visitor can see. So when Membership appeared on Super, Neil didn't wait.
"It was incredibly exciting to see the membership appear a couple of weeks ago. So I jumped straight on it."
Building at a new speed with the Super MCP
The Super MCP landed at the same time. After a short start-up phase, it became the fastest way for Neil to build.
"I had a few glitches at the beginning, but they were quickly ironed out by your team."
"As soon as I got going, literally, it was like I was on steroids — able to churn out code so much faster."
Neil writes instructions in a requirements-driven way, and the MCP follows them.
"To be fair, I haven't found any issues with the MCP. In fact, it's doing everything I'm asking for."
"It seems to take my instructions… and it spins up stuff incredibly fast."
Notion and Super, working together
Neil's content lives in Notion, and the two tools work side by side during the build.
"It worked really well inside Notion."
Almost ready for market
After months of testing the data modelling, the new tools gave Neil the final push.
"The tools you've given me within the last two weeks have allowed me to really take this to the next level."
"I'm now almost at the point where I can take my product to market."
